Yesterday's 'after's

Low log to help them get up on the ladder. The triangle nest boxes are (hopefully) to keep them from pooping all over the suggested nest box.

The pile... after I've chased them out of it half a dozen times. In less than 2 hrs they spread it to nearly twice it's original footprint & flung a good bit off the top.

Today's adventure

Asparagus bed..... somewhere under the weeds & flopped ferns

Tied then up with hay strings... that's a little bit better

Hey look! A fallow garden bed! Rumor has it there a fence back there too....

Ugh....

Nearly there. Breaking for some lunch.
Anyone wanna take bets as to whether or not I can dig up that tree & replant in the pasture??

It's about 10' tall. Gotta check with Eva 1st. I'm not going to put all that work into it if she's going to yank it up & eat it before I even get back out of the field.

Also, early this morning I turned on the electric blankie for the first time this season.

He has barely left the catio. It's his favorite place to be.... even more than my lap sometimes.
