Copper deficiency is most noticeable in the goats goat. Color and quality. Fish tail is when the tail, which is normally rounded at the end falls out and looks divided at the end like a fish. Copper deficiency makes the hair on a goat change color. Black and white goats start to get copper coloring in their white hairs and black hairs. They might start losing some hair. And the hair will become coarse and loose it's luster. One of my goats white hairs all turned coppery golden. As soon as the copper bolus kicked in she got bright white again. Her hair got shiny and soft.

Selenium deficiency shows up in muscle weakness and immune deficiencies. Does will have kids with weak muscles and the ears if the kids might droop at birth like a nubian. Those are just mild signs. General muscle tone drops and the goat will get weak and have some muscle wasting. They become more susceptible to other diseases. Severe deficiency can result in complete loss of muscle tone and death.
