My neighbors have Rhododendron bushes and my goats got over there this morning and found them, but the thing is the bushes are behind a chainlink fence, and the only thing the goats could reach was the dead leaves, and I don't think they got but a few . . . What should I do? Just watch them?

Someone else just went through this. All the information/suggestions were posted on this thread.

His may have gotten into a good bit more than yours did though but it will give you an idea what to look for and what to do. We had a goat that escaped a few years ago and ate about 4 or 5 leaves and was fine but each goat is different and it can depend on what was already in their stomach, etc.

I wouldn't wait too long to get some activated charcoal. Sometimes, dry leaves are even worse in poisonous plants and you are probably better off being proactive about it. Hope everything goes well and please keep us posted :fl
