Trees are slow and get eaten.
Telephone poles are hard to come by and expensive.
Thinking of sinking 2 wood posts, or even just extra tall tposts, attach tall tposts to those, then attach cable to tree tops. Lastly, add a shade tarp.
🤔🫣🧐🤷🏽‍♀️

We have heavy posts holding up the shade cloth at the barn. Three different sets. Our wind can be very strong - last year it snapped one of the posts (6x6 post). We've replaced that one with a very heavy 4in (?) diameter metal post, so far so good. All are sunk in concrete.

A ton in the freezer. Did all of the growers in the barn today, will do all of the growers outside tomorrow. Have to let the deep freezer work before adding more. Though, I do need to use the little freezer in the fridge as well, since the deep freezer is almost full!
Only culled one of Jet's. Will evaluate the litter again tomorrow to cull more out.
One older junior culled. The others will be relisted, but culled next weekend. And the adults will have longer to find homes before eventually being culled out as well. Plus, they all cannot fit in the freezer this week...
Only have about 12 poo bags. Need to get to filling the rest! But with so many culled out, it'll take even longer now. And the oppressive summer heat n humidity just makes it such an unbearably nasty job.
