The cold kit from Berry's litter got dragged out and died. Rest doing great.


Put the 2hole over the other. It's hung up from the carport's frame.


Added rebar to straighten the 3hole. Need to do the same to the 4hole next.
Put a divider into the top cage as well.


And to secure the 2hole, I used the metal scrap frame along the back to keep it from flopping about. Obviously, I climbed in. Pretty common for me to do this, lol.

Rudy made her nest in the cage. Ugh. Hoping she changes her mind. Will add another nest in that spot just in case. Sire Spaz & Trouble.

Wtf! I am so not okay with this.....
Looking at the Rex bucks, there's way too many of them. Choco will go once I get kits. Cast is on his last chance to get a doe bred. Rew and Puff, I'll be comparing how Puff grows to Rew. Hopefully better, to replace him. If not, cull. Then, I need to compare Bluey to Trouble. Either cull or get a litter then cull.
Trying not to cull too early, though. As that's also not a good thing....
Then, looking at Rex does, I'm wanting to remove one of the broken chocolates by comparing litters. Cassy vs Opal. I need Opal to fatten up for a litter, if they do well, one will replace Cassy, as I don't like her shape and she's not great in size. And the other Cruella doe, need to compare her to DeVil and may cull her out.
Then! The mutts.
Raven on her 2nd chance, nest next Monday. Held back her tort doe, will cull if Raven has a worthy kit. And Coal was bred on the 11th, so hoping she proves worth it or will be culled. Rudy is due Tuesday.

So, hopefully 6-7 or so will go before winter.

Cruella × Spaz & Trouble
Few days before we know if any are Spaz kits, so fa, he's failed.

Seems the deep freezer failed at some point and ruined bun meat....More dog food for my younger dog...
I'm having serious dental issues + a cold, so I'm hoping I can make it through the pain to finalize bull butchering and then get to the dentist Wednesday. Nerve pain in the skull truly is the worst, I fully understand those people that have gone off the deep end because of it. Wow, it is rough!!


Rudy is a very friendly mom. Loving her and kits so far. All fed and happy. Her dad is evil Glitter's dad, so that nasty streak is hiding in her genes, but luckily, it skipped her! Can only hope it skips her kits, too!
Black and blue selfs, plus black and blue otter! I'm glad otter isn't gone from the barn, it adds fun to all of this!

hmm, more fun colors at this stage, I wonder what they are! That bottom odd color and there's one that seems to be tort?


Berry nest moved in, as they're hopping out age and the diy stacker doesn't really work out with a nest at this age.
