It's been a fun morning with the girls today.
First, I heard one of the girls going off in the coop. Penny was in with her to offer support...lol

Then after I sat down in my chair, I made the mistake of leaning over and Crystal flew up on my back... needless to say, I couldn't get a picture of that.
But, here's her cute face! 🥰

Then Genevieve came up to visit! 🤣💗

And bags of feed...

Hey @Baymule ! I'll ship you some eggs if you don't mind straight run. I had a friend ship me a dozen eggs, 7 hatched and 6 survived. Silas, Esther, Priscilla, and pretty Joanna all came from that generous gift.

Rahab and Tamar both went broody in May 2024, so I slipped those eggs and three newly hatched chicks underneath them!

Rahab and last year's brood ⬆️

That's awesome. 💗 I wish I still had a rooster, I could do the same.

That’s so thoughtful. I’m not ready yet but I’m getting closer to wanting chickens again.

Road trip to Texas! I know of a nice Doublewide redneck mansion in the middle of nowhere that offers comfy beds, breakfast, lunch and supper. Country noises at night, barking Anatolians, howling coyotes, lightening bugs and flies.
Y’all come on down! 😂😂😂😂😂
Sounds amazing! That's my kind of trip. As long as I'm allowed to help out with meals and maybe a chance or two+ more to help with your animals and land! 💗
