Fed all hives

Varroa Count
Hive #1: 4
Hive #2: 8
Pkg hive: 15
Swarm Hive: 6

I'm trying not to be concerned by the high count on the package hive. We should have caught all brood that have hatched up to now while they were still open. We'll know more when we test after we get back home. If it's still high, we will treat with Apivar.

Finally on the road. I usually drive, but asked Dale if he'd start, then we will trade when stop to get fuel.

Talked to my youngest son yesterday. Asked him if they'd been bringing in very many eggs. He told me about 3 dozen. Sounds like quite a few of my girls decided to start laying all at once. He also said quite a few of them were green. That means my Ameraucana girls are laying and hopefully one of my Rainbow Eggers is producing green eggs. I'm pretty sure one of them are laying brown eggs.

Crystal: Brown egg?

Elena: Hopefully green.

Opal: Green?

Dove: Green?

So do I! That's one of the reasons I always have a mixed flock, that and I just loves a mix of beautiful hens.

Went out to check on the girls. Brought in 5 eggs. My son said they've been bringing in 5-6 every day. My friends will be happy...lol

Bent over to pick something up and Crystal landed on my back. Got her off and tried to finish what I was doing, then Opal landed on my back...lol
