WOW!! Looks like a lot of fun!!! OMG I'd be coming home with chickens.
I was really good and bought NOTHING! 😂

It was a great day! I really enjoyed my time with @farmerjan. I’ve been to poultry shows before, but this one was WOW! So many many birds, and all looking gorgeous. It was especially nice to be with someone who knows all about shows and could tell me so much about the birds.

@fuzzi the bantam speckled Sussex didn’t pose so great in my photos after all except for this one:

And some of the large fowl SS:

Other random birds that caught my eye:

And finally, the photo of the two of us:

Just got home a bit ago... Pouring rain when I got up this morning, and didn't hang around very long... rain about 1/3 way home, then sprinkles and showers.
Birds are in temp quarters in the big calf hutch.... they are totally chilled out and not at all concerned about anything....
DS has the skid loader here and the bought coop from several weeks ago, is off the trailer and skid loader "pallet forks" underneath it on the ground. He says he will move it where I want it tomorrow... I want to move the buff leghorns in it so they have to start being less flighty with me working in closer quarters with them... and the NH's will go in the larger pen... they are larger birds anyway... and it is going to get put up on the "skids"/treated boards so it can get moved around some. Which was the plan and hasn't gotten done... The "new coop" is too heavy to move around regularly... it is smaller and will work for the leghorns better...
Got some things to catch up on, will post more later...

I'm glad you're finally getting your coops set up how you want them.

You're getting rain, yippee!

Glad the new chickens aren't stressed.
