Deb's place would be a consideration except DS has it tied up with haymaking and he is renting the covered arena for storage of hay making equipment and wagons....would make it much too sticky a situation since he was "in it" with her deceased husband first.... not worth the complications. I also sometimes think she may be contemplating selling it.... she is at a crossroads with hitting 60, job situation, and trying to weigh the possibility of going back to where her brother is in KS.... he is also single and has some horses and cattle... she gets along well with him overall... lots of things for her to consider too...

@Mini Horses .....The way prices are here... it would cost in the neighborhood of $6-750,000...or more..... House was added on to; very very nice brick with all sorts of extras.....barn for horses with 4 stalls and open sided covered arena, another barn with another 4 or 6 stalls..... probably 20+ acres, shelters in each fenced pasture for horses and waterers, with the woods and all... NOT in my budget... :lol::gig:gig:gig:th:th:th:th:th:th:th:th:th

Like my house -- I couldn't afford to buy it on today's market ! Nothing fancy but great location & they're adding huge distribution/warehouse sites about 20 miles out. If they ever sell the 80 acres adjacent, across a dead RR track, I'd prob sell. Yeah, it would be a housing development in no time! 🤐🤷 Other side is about 25 ac but, won't PERC so those $30k tanks would be needed.

Me? Well, I have good PERC & 2 septics on prop, 3 more sites tested good, so I'd sub-divide and move with my $$$. 🤣🤣

Sixty and already wanting to get out of the game, wow. Sign me up for 80 or dying in the pasture. If I ever sell this place and all properties I'm looking at $720k or more and that's just raw land, this structure not included. We paid $243k for the land.
