⬆️ Silas is on the left, but his color is wrong so I won't breed him.

No birds for me. My mother used to breed cockatiels and parrots until she came down with Bird Lung. She died of it. She had given the kids a cockatiel and it was very cute. It would sit on our shoulders and fingers. Every time I cleaned the cage I would cough for weeks. I finally gave it to a fried for her little girl.

Then we got chickens. Every time I cleaned the coop I would cough - this time for months. My cousin said I sounded like I had lung rot! When I coughed I felt like I was coughing one of my lungs up. After my mother's diagnosis I finally figured out I was probably allergic to the chicken dander. No more chickens for us. I like my lungs. LOL

Let them get settled in a bit, and we are going to work cattle tomorrow and move some more to pasture... dr appts for DS end of the week...
Went to the chiropractor and was not feeling too terribly inspired today... didn't even go to the goodwill down there... The hand numbness has been very aggravating yesterday and today.

Late this afternoon, I had started mowing the yard and it started to sprinkle... put it away and it is now RAINING again... not complaining but won't do grass tomorrow either... after the nice 1.3 inches we had from Sat night into Sunday, the grass seemed to grow 5 inches overnight. This rain shower will just add to it... I am not complaining... we need the moisture... but with the cotton picking allergies this spring it's aggravating.

I will get some pictures of the birds, once they calm down a little bit...and get more used to things.... thinking it might be nicer weather in a few days... I need to look at the weather though.

@Mini Horses needs to post the pictures of us 4 BYH "ladies".... or @canesisters ... or @fuzzi .... I think they are all much better with electronic stuff... @fuzzi posts nice pics of her chickens.... @canesisters has posted nice ones in the past... I am the only "dinosaur" when it comes to things like that...
