Would you like to take a vacation in TEXAS during HAY season?
Probably not, it's hotter than hot. Any other time that farm chores pile up that you could dump on him and tour the South?
You could come visit me in WA too. It's beautiful here! Early fall is the best time!![]()

I love it! Two of my dearest friends are from a forum I was moderator on for many years. One friend was a member and the other was a fellow moderator that moderated multiple forums with me for many years. Have met them both in person when I was near their states. I love when folks meet up after knowing each other online for so long. We've got it all mapped out for you Jan!
I laugh, but the offer is sincere!![]()

I was a host on AOL in the mid 90s onward, started meeting online friends in 1997, and haven't stopped.I love it! Two of my dearest friends are from a forum I was moderator on for many years. DS's house is like 3/4 mile from me... not a big deal... and I do not want the dogs at my house.. No fences to keep them in,,,, lots of reasons... with Spirit's health challenges now, do not want to take him out of the familiar... it's bad enough being about blind, that he has gotten out and gone up DS;s long driveway and gotten on the road.... he has a collar for the invisible fence thing and does quite well with it... so does his aussie.... got to go by DS house to go to the barn to check cows and now to take care of the calf that messed up his leg...Too bad you couldn't have had the dog at your place so you could have given the shots at home instead having to drive over to your son's 2x day.
Lucky on the calf's leg not breaking. Sorry about the loss of the little calf.
That's so awesome!!!! Haha! I suspect it will be months of moving at this point. First load I truly hope will be leaving in a week or so. Timing with the holidays is going to be tricky. Would prefer NOT to be driving on the holidays but we'll see.
All I can say is HOLY COW......
Might be more to the "travel idea"......
How soon are you planning on moving @RR Homestead ?????
Would make it in 2 separate trips... west coast then southern states...
Have met and spent some time with @Mini Horses... Started just her and I at the poultry swap...... added @canesisters .... added @fuzzi .... added the friend of @canesisters ...... drove to Tenn and met @Mike CHS and his wife Teresa... because @Baymule was coming to get a young ram and I thought at the time that I would never get to TX so this was an opportunity to meet her after all the time we have interacted on here, and talked on the phone some.... then @Finnie and I met out at the Columbus Ohio Poultry National show a month or so ago...
Possibilities are endless... lots of "y'all" in TX... plus some members of CT that I have interacted with for many years.... so TX would have to be a separate trip....![]()
