Flooding in Northwest

As for me down in Vancouver, its all up north. About 3 hours drive. I was just watching ABC news a moment ago, and was amazed at the photos/videos. A gal on SS said her area (next to Mt Rainier) below the mountain was hard hit. She said that was why they didn't buy in the lahar areas of that mountain!!

Also its weirdly warm. So no snow - just rain.

We're safe, thank you! 💞

Most of it is on the West side of the Cascades. We're on the East side. That being said there is a flood watch on the Yakima river, between Benton City and Richland, that's the area where we shop and have our Dr's, about an hour from us . It's flooded there several times over the years. It's cumulative from rain filling up streams flowing into it further up river. We're about 5 minutes from the Columbia, but those water levels are regulated by the dams.

I've been running around in a t-shirt all day. 60° today, 65 yesterday, currently 54.
