Yep! They'll be blooming by mid-late Sept. They'll start at the bottom & the spear will continue to get taller with more buds all through Oct... unless we get a really hard frost.
😁
We don't usually get hard frost until after November 1st.

The yarrow, iris, and Rose of Sharon all look good. I think the columbine finally gave up.

Most of the Sussex appear to be through the worst of their molting.

Joanna is 16 months old, and is the most loquacious of my flock. She's constantly chattering about something of importance.

She's also growing spurs!

Zaccheus' tail feathers are coming back!

And his offspring...the screeching jeebees!

Rahab started to molt before she was finished with her momma duties. She had no tail for a couple weeks, but it's finally growing in. This is the second brood she's raised, and done a wonderful job, too.

I'm definitely feeling better, did some trimming yesterday of severely overgrown areas, including by the fence. It had not significantly grown back there, probably due to no rain, so I expanded my cutting area towards the woods.

This was all knee-deep!

And I only used two pieces of line @farmerjan , probably since I wasn't cutting along the fence as much. I love my trimmer!
