It sure did. I used up a lot of plastic forks, but it was worth it. FORK YOU STUPID CATS!

How nice, that is going to look so good and no more rotting boards. You cat looking at the chicken wire wrapped around the bed reminded me of my garden in Livingston. The lady next door was a cat hoarder and fed over 60 feral cats in her driveway every day. She had so many in the house that it was a health hazard. Her sons finally came down from Oklahoma and cleaned it all up, emptied the house, it was rented, and took her home with them. But living next to a cat hoarder was awful. The cats used my garden beds for their toilet. I hated putting my hands in the dirt and finding surprises. In desperation one year, I stuck plastic forks in the dirt, tines up, so when the cats tried to take a squat, their butts got poked.

Thank you! Hardest part for me is hauling the blocks. Setting them in place and getting them somewhat level is like solving a puzzle, and I actually enjoy it. And I like the look, too.

I do TNR, so no kittens. My two semi-ferals keep other cats away, and I have no rodents aside from an occasional squirrel.

Somebody ️ used my freshly planted beds as their toilet, so up went the fencing/netting.

Time change sucks. I got home about 4:30, and it was already a bit dusk-like. A couple of the youngsters were already on the roost but came down when they saw me. Grapes and BOSS were their supplemental feed today.

I feel the same about DST. I dislike the early dark!

Love the time change... this is the REAL TIME....

Once I retire I won't mind, I just don't like having little time to care for my birds before they roost.

Yep, that's my issue...daylight after getting home from work. It's about being able to get home, change clothes, take a few minutes to switch gears and then chores. I'm good with earlier daylight. It's a need to adjust my own schedules for day to day.

Let's call a spade a spade -- summer gives me longer "days"! More to my liking. I can eyeball everyone moving around before dark.

I found another pullet egg yesterday!

And another pullet egg today, that's 3 in 4 days!

I have a dentist visit in the morning. If everything has healed then I should get my permanent bridge/crown. Whew.
