I might move the food over towards the left. Would hate for the waterer to tip over while I am at work, can picture Naomi knocking it on its side as she tries to access the food.

Yes. They near about drowned, then they got a sauna steam bath. Gotta be tough to hang out here! Hahaha!
So glad to hear they're hanging on!

I have evening primroses that thrived in Connecticut, but fried in upstate SC. When I planted them here I chose an eastern and sheltered exposure. They bloom profusely in May, then fry into sticks. However, once the weather cools in October I see little reddish green leaves emerge, and know they'll bloom again the following Spring.

I don't think they could handle Texas...
