Fried frog legs? Cut the tendon behind the knee or else the legs will jump out of the frying pan. ๐Ÿ˜ƒ
Not eating frogs unless I am starving. :sick

Home about 5, spent the next three hours outside.

Flocks were visited, waterers checked, BOSS and wild strawberries offered to the chickens' delight. They also loved the flake of fresh straw I provided:

I did some weeding, and pruning of unwanted growth. Happy little trees sprouting everywhere does not make me happy!

Baby squash:

Volunteer squash has humongous leaves!

Pulled the last three turnips, and remaining carrots. Decided to plant a third sowing of beans. Bed #5 was planned, where the first sowing of peas had been, but as I loosened the soil I didn't like the texture, it still had debris from the coop/run cleaning last fall, SO I added in peat moss, then moved the sweet potatoes from where I'd planted them (yesterday?) to the bed. I added about 2-3" of peat moss to the fallow bed, loosening it well.

Facing east. Sweet potatoes are now in the far bed.

I planted green and wax beans in the near bed, the "fallow" one.

Facing west, showing my little fence I rigged up to keep critters out.

Uh oh...will move soil out of the way, and put together.
