And that's heading my way 😕

Never got to work today. Oh, I got showered & dressed only to find a herd in the yard 😖 Wrangled goats & fence all day. My shoulder will not forgive the post pounding today. Probably be hurt from tugging CPs around, too. And glad I had a stack of wood for top railing 😲 Ya gotta do what ya gotta do :idunno Damned goats!! Sheep are starting to look good . I swear, one was holding a section of fence down, to let others climb it!!! Not jump, climb.....electric added on is coming this weekend!! I'm tired today.....in soooo many ways. :old 🤪

I swear, same grasses & weeds on both sides. :barnie

A few more garden photos...

Huge vine in back is pumpkin, cantaloupes are in front. Watermelons are in the center, not doing much, yet.

The Rose of Sharon are finally perking up! They've been semi-wilted since I transplanted them, 3 weeks ago?

The yarrow is doing well, only lost one. Also, the columbine went totally yellow, looks dead. My evening primroses do something similar. They look like dead sticks above the soil.

Several fields of corn that is up 3-6 inches are getting that yellowish cast... too much water, too cold nights, not enough sun... We couldn't get enough moisture, then it started to rain, then it has been cold...really tough... and we cannot get near the hayfields... too wet but also it will tear up the fields with ruts from it getting so soggy now... :barnie:barnie:barnie:barnie:barnie:barnie:barnie:hit:hit:hit:hit:hit:th:th

Hey, it's just an idea, but if you were serious about goats i do have a pair of mini does i need to let go that just aren't getting any interest. I could get them re bio screened and vet checked but getting them to you might be an issue as I'm probably about 3 hours away and I'm somewhat stuck here, running the show...that and ones a baby and ones in milk and its not her mom. But if we could pull something off they're nicer than the ones at auctions, I can be blunt about why I'm selling them, and they could come with a milk stand. That and you could send them back if they disagrees with you (or you could sell them locally if you wanted, I wouldn't be offended).

In fact, if you came up here I could introduce you to all the goats, Nigerian, Lamancha, and minis, bucks and does (the bucks are out of rut now too, so everyone should be nice and not smelly).
I messaged you.

I had put the goats on hold until I retire (looking at October/November) but I am not adverse to changing plans.
