Thanks. It's never easy, just part of animal husbandry.

I could put up a second roost, but based upon experience it would only be used for a few weeks. And I'll probably be taking the boys to auction by mid August, don't need three cockerels in with Silas!

Ah, dang. Sorry about the chick. We've all been there, it's tough to see the miracle stop short. It's one of those things that give us experience and reminds us to truly appreciate the ones that make it.
