I have made the jelly and also an infused vinegar which is wonderful on salads mixed with a good olive oil.

Once I have actual elderberries I will be interested in recipes.

What do elderberries taste like?
I see where people make 'syrup' from it all the time - but to be used like a tincture in tea & such. Do they make good jam???

Imo, they don't taste good. not very sweet and so full of seeds. My mother makes elderberry juice. But she always juices it with the stems on and the juice is bitter. I don't recommend.
