If you had pictures it may help us figure out what it is. Has she had a fever recently? Have you seen any mites or lice? Could it be ringworm?

Is she pink skinned? A friend of mine raises East Friesian dairy sheep, which are a pink skinned, white faced breed, and they get sunburned on their ears and udders where the hair is thin. It causes the hair to fall off and the skin to peel and get crusty.

they have been in the sun a lot recently and it has been hot.
and no I can not see any bugs, lice or so on and yes she is pink skinned so I think it may be sunburn

what would I do about this? do they make a sheep sun block LOL

I have a white Boxer and he gets sunburns on his nose. I put chapstick (the original kind) on his skin to keep it soft and moist.

Seems like I have read to use human sunblock on white dog's pink skin. I don't think it would hurt on sheep.
