Hello All!

Udders can fill up to a month early (sometimes more from what I understand), but you are probably much closer than that. It is hard to feel ligaments. Keep checking and watching for other signs of labor. You're doing good.

Thank you! What other signs should I be looking for. It is cold here (under 30 degrees) I am worried about her going into labor and not having someone there to dry off the kids.

Mine was obvious, she was bent almost in half walking with tiny steps grunting. What you’re kind of looking for is them kind of scrunching their backs in the air, at least that’s what I’ve noticed with most.

she's right they may try scrunching up they may get up and down a lot usually in the days prior they'll do weird stretching they may nip at their sides or talk to their sides, they may seek somewhere to be a bit off by themselves... her udder does look like it has progressed. if you can't feel the ligament you should feel her whole butt area around the spine and hips they're kind of gets looser and dips down a bit it's hard to describe and wish you were about a week from now and I could show you pictures cuz I'm going to start kidding about the 20th.
some does get really friendlier than normal or needy, and some will kind of retreat and try to find a spot.
I am going to give you a nice little link that you can look at that has a couple of pictures. but like she says it can vary so much the vast majority do these things but I have one though that never shows any signs except for her other feeling and she pops them out and goes right back to normal and you can't hardly tell but that's one out of 20.

Pawing, going off by herself, stretching as if moving babies, calling to her babies, being licky, nesting. I'm in a similar situation and I CAN find the ligaments. Darn things seem to be fluctuating with the barometer.

If you have a warm drier place like a garage to set up a puppy pen or pallet pen you could set her up there when you start to wonder. They like isolation from the herd when they are close. Her buddy may freak out though.

She had her kid yesterday. A girl. Mom has been contracting through the night. I thought she had more but maybe done? I tried bouncing but can’t tell if there’s another one in there. It’s been over 12 hours now. It’s not possible for her to deliver again is it? And the garbage can works great!

Congratulations on the birth of a doe :clap ...did you see the after birth on the ground,? she may of been having contractions to get it all out, as long as she is acting like her normal self and nursing the kid everything should be fine.
