I am so glad to finally join this forum, I have been a lurker for a while but finally decided to jump in on the conversations. I am from Colorado, right now we live in the Pueblo area but we are planning to move to the Wet Mountains area within 2 year, unless family keeps causing me to go crazy and then we are moving to Idaho 
. Our goal is to become 100% off grid when we move and to raise all of our own meat. I have tried a garden twice now but I can never get anything to grow, so I have given up on growing stuff. Right now we have 3 dogs, 4 indoor cats, a snake, 2 fishtanks and a horse. We have plans to get 6 goats in the next month or two, there are 4 does a baby buckling and a buck, we want to use them for milk and meat. We have plans to get another buck to prevent inbreeding and then also would like to get some meat rabbits and I would like to get some chickens again, and another horse. I have two boys, a 4 year old and a 3 month old and the most loving husband who is letting me do all this. I really look forward to learning as much as I possibly can from all the folks on here!
