Wow! Love the dogs they are really cool! My dogs are SUPER OLD so they probably just dream about chasing animals like they did when they were younger!

Herding as a sport is expensive, time consuming, demands acuracy and HARD! I think there are many farm dogs that do chores on stock everyday. Those dogs are invaluable to their owners!

Okay now for questions.
How do these dogs handle the cold? And are they good with kids?

They handle cold well. Belgians as a breed are true working dogs. They MUST have work to be healthy physically and mentally. As to how they are around children, I don't have the answer. I'd ask a breeder who has children.

Here is Winslow, this was on his 11th birthday!! He is a German Boxer and his best talent today is sleeping for over half the day... I guess he can do whatever he wants in his old age. Although, in his prime, he was very talented at bringing random deer legs back to our doorstep and then trying to take them inside.

Here is Flower. She is a pit bull/boxer mix and 9 years old, but still enjoys a good game of basketball... by that I mean she takes the ball from you and runs round the yard for hours barking at it and looking all crazy.

This pic was taken on Christmas last year, and yes, that was her Christmas present minutes after she opened it.
