Hello from Oklahoma

Hello, BYH. I was already a member of BYC and TEG, but just acquired (given to us very unexpectedly, but we aren't one to turn down an opportunity) two rabbits over the weekend and will definitely need some help in this area. Bio: My family and I (husband, 13 y/o son, 8 y/o daughter, and 2 y/o son) live on 2 acres in SE Oklahoma. My husband and I both grew up raising bigger livestock such as cattle, pigs, and goats, but due to the room issue we are just sticking with smaller animals until we find our forever home with much more land hopefully. I am so excited to meet new people and learn from those more experienced.

Well, hello from the front range in Colorado Welcome to BYH and glad you joined us! They say chickens are the "gateway" animal that start most folks to owning a menagerie, but I think rabbits work pretty well also, at least if they are owned as meat rabbits... There are quite a few great bunny folks here who are active and very helpful when someone has a problem or issue. Of course there's also a wealth of info/experience available in the forum posts already. Get comfy, browse around a bit, and jump right in when you're ready! Oh, and we all love pics, so if you have some to share, we'll all ooooooo & ahhhh over them
