Well I'M a Taurus I like long moon lighted walks. Oh my bad wrong forum..
I'M a old goat been working on this place for over a year of remodeling and needing some fencing for my one acre for some short haired some sheep or goats. I love gardening, chickens and fishing which I haven't done since I bought this place. I'm retired so I have a lot of time..
Most of all like to kid, lol and have fun..

We are retired and have 8 acres. We raise Katahdin hair sheep, we have 3 horses, 5 big dogs, 9 laying hens and picking up 3 feeder pigs in the morning. We raise a big garden. Know what you mean about working on the place!

Well, im an Aquarius and like moon lighted walks too, because up here a bear might eat you on the way to the outhouse!

nice looking sheep seems like your trying to be self sufficient

We pretty much are self sufficient. We raise our meat and most of our vegetables. I can, freeze and dehydrate. I seriously believe I have squirrel DNA. LOL We took a steer to slaughter last week, will be picking up meat soon, half belongs to our daughter and family. Raising a batch of Cornish cross chickens for meat right now, all are sold, will get another batch of 50 on the 24th. I can the offal for dog food, they love it mixed with their kibble. I like the idea of a milking animal, but I'm just not that dedicated to milking every day. I gotta build another chicken tractor!

Howdy, fencing is hard work... but a good fence sure is golden.

Yes I don't mind commitment but commitment and "having to" milk once or twice a day is a big difference.
