Well, I found a link this morning on BYC and thought I would check it out. I hope this will be an interesting place to learn and read about others with "herd" animals. My family and I live on a cattle ranch in South Texas and also have horses. We of course have chickens, ducks and quail. On the pet side we have dogs, cats and guinea pigs. My daughter's are competitive in the cutting horse world and I train and retrain horses on the side. My dh works over seas. For now, I enjoy the cattle while my FIL still runs them on the ranch. We feel he needs to as long as he is able, so we enjoy them and help when needed.

So anyhow, that is my intro. Looks like an interesting forum!
