In my early 20’s I worked with a Navy veteran. As a young man, he was assigned to the radio department. Young people now don’t realize that electronics, TVs and radios, used tubes -the old timey forerunner to the silicon computer chip.

So this young, “green” guy was eager to learn about the radio. The operator sent him to get a tube. He diligently searched the entire ship, asking everyone for a fallopian tube.
