Well, I can't get my boss to listen to any advice that comes from a source other than her friends, so we've only had moderate success.
One ewe has nearly dried off, one has slowed down significantly, and the last has doubled her usual milk production compared to the rest of the season. o_o
And now we're supposed to be flushing them to get ready for settling them again.
Juuuust peachy.

Thank you all for what I'm sure was good advice. I'm sorry that I haven't exactly been allowed to take it.

Yeah, but the friends will be right there to help when problems arise, right?:/ What have they been having you do that one would actually increase? Switch to milking 5 times a day to really get it drained good? At least you must be compiling some great stories through this job/adventure! Good luck!
