Just an observation here, but the buck DOES find a way to the females! And sometimes, the girls find a way to the buck!
Is it possible to keep them separate? They are escape artists. No holes in fence or gate and I have found the buck in with the girls. We have tried to keep them separate as the girls are about 6 months old. How can you tell if they’re impregnated?

Is the buck lonely?

What type of fencing do you have?

If the buck is escaping and getting in the does, he had most likely bred them.
You need to talk to your vet about getting some lutalyse.

You can add electric fence, it may help.

We’ve had 15+ adult bucks here, don’t have any issues.

We had one that was trying his best to jump fences. He is gone now. I don’t tolerate it.

I don't currently keep goats, but have a small sheep flock. Rams (like bucks) can detect oestrus in females from about half a mile away. Rams jump fences to find ewes in season. Bucks are generally good jumpers and MUCH better climbers than sheep. In order to prevent unwanted pregnancies, does need to be in an area which the buck cannot reach....and this can be (literally) a tall task of high fences and impregnable hedges/fences.
