I love basements. Grew up in the midwest (northern IL) and practically everyone has a basement. The one thing to make sure you have is a good sump-pump. I do remember when the power went out it was a bucket brigade to keep the sump from overflowing into the basement. Nothing that a little generator couldn't handle now a days. Great for storage, making into additional living areas, just general anything you want area. As a kid ours had a workshop (wood stuff not automotive), a sewing room, a reloading room, and a ping pong table.

This is my second doublewide. After a lifetime of living in sturdy homes, we retired to 8 acres and a doublewide. BJ passed away, I sold it and bought 25 acres and a doublewide. I didn't even care about the house, i looked at the LAND first. I think the lady of the house was a bit miffed because I didn't go in the house first an only after she asked me to look at the hose. Eh, seen one, seen them all.

I need a sparkly T-shirt that says DOUBLEWIDE DIVA

I spent a little time in a smaller double wide for a period of time growing up. I learned then I couldn't stand wood paneling. I never thought I'd find a double wide I'd love but we've found it. It's so incredibly nice compared to our home here. We also looked at land first. 😂 Sounds like we think the same way.
I can make you that shirt! 😂 Well when my shirt stuff is unpacked that is. 😂 I'm a huge sparkly addict. Most of my shirts I make are sparkly. 😂 For some reason my better half doesn't want glitter on his stuff. I can't understand that. 🙃

I ADORE T-shirts with a message! My very favorite one, I bought some 20+ years ago...... it is black and in crooked white letters it says:

My hair is this color because I ate paint chips as a child.

At that time, I colored my hair a light auburn. My hair was pretty much white, I started turning gray at 12 years old. In my late 50's I finally pried my hands off the bottle and let my hair grow out. It is totally white. T-shirt still fits!

That's an awesome shirt! 😂 I rarely wear a shirt with no message on it. Usually either a bible saying or a positive message for people. Always get comments on them and people wanting them. Seems to make people smile often so it's worth it to me. Too much grumpy negative people around here anymore.
