Hey ya'll,

So, I raised a few market goats in 4-H and had a few Pygmies for awhile, and now I'm moving back to the farm and am able to have goats again! I found this adorable Nigerian doe for sale on Craigslist, the ad looks pretty legitimate.

Is $150 too much to pay for this girl? I don't want to jump headfirst into a breed I know nothing about. I was just going to get her and a little Nigerian doeling from my cousin, I'd like a goat that'll produce me some milk but the rest of the family won't drink it so I don't want too much.

You're in Wyoming? That's a Michigan ad. Are you moving back here?

That ad has been up for a while...

but FWIW, I have a daughter out of Sugar Creek lines... and I paid a bunch more than $150.

Worth checking out at the least...

Good luck.

That could possibly be too low of a price for an animal from those lines. I would make sure she has been tested disease free before sealing the bargain.
