Illinois

i was wondering the same thing. finally got down to this section. we are in so. ill, 20 miles south of mt.vernon, overlooking beautiful rend lake, known for its fishing and boating adventures. (sorry, sound like a tourisim ad). have ponies, goats, rabbits, chickens, geese, a few gunieas(those that haven't stole out to nest and got had),enough dogs to be considered a pound, and several rescued cats, all spayed or neutered, most declawed, a happy bunch, and one guniea pig(looking for a new home).

Hey, OSUman--just another BYCer who's jumped to Backyard herds. We live SSE of Urbana, IL, still in Champaign County, barely. Check us out on GOOGLE maps--here's my address:
106 john st., longview, IL 61852

We're the middle property on the left hand side of the street. They took these pics about a year ago, when I had not too much vegetation and still had ruts from my Feb., 2008 fencing job. Kinda looks like a war zone!

Hey youre not that far from me what kind of animals do you have?

I am from So. Illinois. I live in Murphysboro. About two hours NW of Paducah, KY.

I go to college in Carbondale. :D

I have two cats, two dogs and one horse with another soon to be in my possession.

;)

I am in S. IL. Close to everyone else. about 45 minutes from carbondale, and 1 1/2 hours from st. louis.

I live in Oklahoma but I was born in So. Illinois, Little Egypt, lived in Pope and Harden Counties.

You folks are in a great place. My DB still lives there in the middle of Shawnee Forest. He raises Tennessee Walkers.
