Afternoon...
Had to give up again and make the dogs come in. 45 minutes straight of barking at Mr. Po. My 6 month old wether, who instigates it 9 time out of 10.
It's Akira, the oldest basset at 5.5 years.
She's just obsessed.
Kitty and Tyson, both 4.5 year old basset typically give up after about 10 minutes then move into hyper monitor stage.
Add to this someone's escaped potbelly pigs and the last 2 days here have been loud.
Hubby gets to turn off his hearing aids bi I have audit homework to do for work tomorrow.
Ugh......

But they look so cute! It’s just a little barking!

Hopefully the dogs will settle down after a bit. When I got feeder pigs some years back, my LGDs HATED them and barked incessantly. So I leashed each dog and took them to meet the pigs at the fence. Dogs still hated pigs but they settled down a little.

Day 90 of goat ownership.....
Just came home. Walked between backyard fencing and goat area fencing.
Goats ran over and talked to me. Dogs flew off the deck out of their nap to bark at goats.
Mind you, we now have ugly barriers up so dogs can't see goats but alas, I disturbed the dirt and they were heard.
Ugh......

Next will be fun. I need to round up 2 wayward potbelly pigs when they visit again. Barking will turn from annoying to a cacophony of hunting dog voices and lungs......
