So I'm at work after all night of no sleep due to the baying and howling my 3 had to do because the new girl decided to have a nervous breakdown and hide outside refusing to come in overnight.
Hubby finally coaxed her out, texts me to let me know 'the 3 stooges like her' and proceeds to blow up my text with pics and messages while I'm in meetings today.....
Omg..... her fat rolls have fat rolls.
And she has kankles......
Diet and exercise here we come.
Name is now Sydney Lee.

So.... moving day for the goats.
Back to the 50x100 area we initially planned but this time the bottom of the chainlink has been covered with corrugated roofing to keep Akira and Tyson from tearing it open again.
Po was all kinds of excited and prancing wildly.
Dragging the girls over to see the make shift bedding and feeding area for the week. He made sure they saw the inside and topside of his barrels and his favorite thing on the planet, a torn up trash can.....
He wasn't sure about @canesisters loaned igloo but I think he'll get over that soon enough.
Holding off on letting the hounds out for now, want the goats to chow down on fresh scrub for a bit.

Welp, that didn't go as planned.
Which is basically the story of my life.
Po found a small gap and exploited it. Ended up on the back deck. We thought we found the right spot, got it secure and went back in.
Not 10 minutes later all three were on the back deck. Goat round up ensued with use using tye railing on the deck to capture the girls rather efficiently since they still aren't people friendly.
Took another look and found a 4x6" gap they had widened to slither through. So they are back in the small pen until that is repaired on both sides as the dogs started using it immediately after we let them out.
Whatever goat book we read that insisted they do not like tight spaces and will not squeeze through gaps either got it wrong or I have 'norm' defying goats.....

Just for giggles.... our newest member learning to bark at goats

Not speaking from personal experience, but as I understand it, if they can get their heads through, then can compress all the bony parts by disjointing them, slide through, reassemble them selves and happily trot off to get into mischief and mayhem.:lol:

I had a very very short period of goat ownership.... so NOT an expert.... but I can say that your goat book was 100% WRONG..... they love to find a tight space to squeeze through... ask ANYONE on here with goats....
