Is it possible . . . could it be . . . a baby goat?

Today while giving my goats their daily scratch down, I noticed that as I was scratching along the one does side, her belly would shift. She was bred around October 15th, though I had my doubts as to whether she was actually preggers. Is it possible that I saw her belly shift because the kid(s) moved from the vigorous rubbing or could it be something less exciting, like indigestion?

Was it the right side or the left? You will see the rumen contract every 60 seconds or so on the left. Fetal movement can be felt on the right side starting around day 100.

It was my right side and she was facing me, so it was her left side. :th So I probably shouldn't read too much into it.

That's ok, keep feeling her right side once she's about 50 days out and you'll have the greatest "aha!" moment. :)
