i had to post a pic of him....i'm still not real sure what breeds he's from.his tongue is black on top but not on the bottom

He looks just like the jersey/holstein crosses we've had.

How is his scours doing?

i almost took a poo pic just to show how well he's doing .....we have real cow pies now

that is either a jersey or a jer X hol.miss kitty most of jer X hols ive seen look like speckled poll cats.

Some are. We have had some that look just like that little guy. I would even say a black and white holstein. If it was a red and white holstein he would be redder. Not with the black to him.

Here's a pic of our Cheer. She is 1/4 jersey and 3/4 holstien. She is the spitting image of her mother who was 1/2 and 1/2. Her daughter looks just like her and she has one more holstein sire behind her. This family started out with a mean old black & white holstein that DH wanted another calf out of but, she wouldn't settle. He had her breed jersey. Cheer's sire is red and white holstein. The jersey will carry well in this cow family.

i can tell the last small dairy herd i bult for me was 2 jer X cows 1 swiss X cow an 2 hol cows.
