Jersey Cow swollen naval!

I have a 2 year old jersey heifer. Her naval is swollen and hard. Not sure if it's an injury or infection. Any knowledge, advice, or treatment help is appreciated!

I got one of those!!! Waiting on the surgeon to call.........

That will need to be "fixed" by a vet. The danger is that intestine could slip down in there, cutting off circulation to the loop of intestine, then you have an emergency and it could turn out really bad. Surgery NOW while it's not life or death, or wait for it to be an emergency and you could wind up with a big vet bill and dead cow. And THAT;S why I'm waiting on the surgeon to call to set me an appointment.

It is a herniated navel and will not get better on it's own. Yes, it needs a vet and needs some surgical repair. ..
