Misty vansickle
Chillin' with the herd
Hi everyone new here, I just found this sight while trying to find a answer to my question.
We just bought two alpine kids last Saturday. I am not new to bottle feeding live stock, I grew up on a farm with cattle and pigs. I am new to goats.
I am not sure exactly how old these little ones are but I am thinking around a week now. We are currently giving them 9 oz of kid milk replacer (thats what the bag says) 3 times a day. They have access to water and hey and fresh grass which they are chewing on but not really eating yet.
My question is (since i see a lot about just giving them whole milk) Which is best for my little gals. Milk replacer or whole milk.
