You use mimosa flowers? I'll have to look into it. I thought they were just invasive and annoying.
Yes, we love our mimosa trees. We have 2 of them on the property, they are called happy trees. Excellent for anxiety, depression, mood lifting and sleeping aid. We did not plant these they were here when we moved to the property. They smell so good, you can eat the flowers straight off the tree but not too many otherwise you’re going to start hallucinating 🤣🤣apparently some people don’t like them and consider them to be messy and useless but like I said ours were already there and we see it as a blessing.

Boys will be boys! Rams can be real inventive when it comes to to getting to the ladies!

Gwynn is such a pretty girl, I’m so glad she is better now, due to your loving care.
All your lambs are adorable.

Your homestead is looking good, all the animals are healthy and happy.
No kidding!!! And to think that in a few months I’ll have to separate Dottie’s from her and stick them in with Weller and Snickes 😮‍💨 fun times and a full freezer in the future.

WTG on Gwynn!! Good save.
Where do you get dolomite??

The Natural Sheep Care book is a wealth of knowledge - love it.
Things look fantastic!! Lots of canning ahead for you.
Thank you 😊
We got our dolomite from Tractor Supply any store like that should have it.

I love the Natural Sheep Care book, it’s been my go to since getting the sheep. That’s how I knew our ewe Misty needed more calcium when she started prolapsing.

I’d love to learn how to can things, but with our family size (10) we don’t currently grow enough things to have extra for canning. This is only our second year gardening, I only have a few things going in pots but my Memaw and younger sister have other stuff out in raised beds. Maybe if we do good this year, then next year we can plant double and have enough for canning as of right now everything gets eaten around here 😆 we love food!

I never knew that about mimosas! I’ve loved them all my life, they are beautiful trees. Thanks for that information.

The wood is also beautiful with outstanding grain. Many years ago, my Daddy removed a mimosa stump from a friend’s yard. He took it to a woodworker and had 3 recipe boxes made. I still have mine, I get you a picture of it.
