light pink gums

I was told my new goats were dewormed in november.... but i noticed kenny has gums are light pink. Is it safe to reworm all of them. I just got them last week. ps it was valbazen

Should be fine to deworm them again.

Most folks check the lower inner eyelid, though...not gums. Not saying the goat doesn't need to be dewormed; just saying that's what most folks check.

Are you using Valbazen again, or going with something else?

Yes, it would be fine to worm again. I would find out from the vet or other goat farmers in your area what dewormers are used and at what dose. It is different in different parts of the country.

Also, do you have a good loose mineral out for them? They need a good goat mineral. I think there is a good cow mineral you can use if you can't find a good goat mineral. Lupinfarm is also in Canada and uses some type of cow mineral for her goats.

I checked his eyes and they are light pink, just checked his gums for comformation. I am on my way to the feed store for the minerals & a dewormer. Thank you so much for the quick replys.

Might take a sample to the vet just to be sure, but yea, I would worm them.
