I haven't been here in ages but have an issue I need some experienced help with.
I have a female llama I bred to an experienced, proven male in July of 2012. She did not have a cria... she never appeared to be pregnant but we did not verify with ultrasound or blood test. She has had crias in the past, before I got her a year and a half ago. We treated her for a retained CL last month and are putting her back in with the male - yesterday was the second attempt since the Estrumate was used. She spits off and wants nothing to do with him... he is slightly interested in her but stays away.
Any thoughts on what might be the issue here?
