We had fun on drive up, stopping at a couple parks. In the morning, we went to Elk City farm and blacksmith museums. Big hit with kids.
Then we drove the last 2 hours to the Howell's farm. Nice folks and I really liked their ram setups. We loaded up the 6 and started the long drive home.
Traveling with livestock is difficult. We also chain both trailer doors and padlock them. I can't decide what I would hate more - someone stealing the sheep/goats to eat them, or some PETA person (also PITA person) deciding to turn them all loose to "run free". Right into the path of a vehicle. We also try to park where we can see the truck and trailer at motels.
I am looking forward to seeing individual pix of your new girls. Be sure to post pix from the side and the rear. I like a wide meaty rump, with plenty of space in the escutcheon for the udder. I like to see length and width both. I'm not hard to please. LOL They look like they have some color to them too.
