Also had a bunch of recruiter contacts on Friday. Most interesting one is a year contract in Corpus Christi as integrity engineer for turnaround. Awesome pay rate and per diem while adding a ton of experience to my resume. It would lets us save a ton of money while I search for a long term position near home.

My daughter and family live in Cal Allen, a community within Corpus Christi. There’s all these little communities and towns around Corpus Christi, maybe you can find a place to rent where you could keep your sheep. Or at least keep your favorites. If you can’t, bring your favorites to me, I’ll keep them for you until you can go back home. ❤️

😱. The job would mean "you" would work away from home for a yr?? Home weekends ? That's a challenge 🫢🤔
Yes, the rest of the family will stay in Cleburne at our ranch. I would be home probably every other weekend.

That is so sweet! I think Cassandra and Alexander with help from hubby can do general care for the herd. They already have to since I have lifting restrictions until end of July. I will probably put off breeding though. Late pregnancy and newborn lambs are the most labor intensive times.
