Whatever you put up, leave a dirt floor. If you try to put her in a building with a wood floor, the floor will eventually rot.

Dirt is easier to clean, you can bed it with straw or pine shavings.

I have Pallet Palaces for quick shelters for some of my sheep. Pallets are usually free. I made one, one pallet wide, 2 on each side, 2 on top and tin over the 2 on top. Cozy.
I make them 2 pallets wide, 2 on each side and use 2 by 4s and 1 by 6s to support a tin roof. And yeah, feed bags or cloth in cold weather keep heat in.

She is doing amazing! She has calmed down as far as being vocal about not having a bottle. She is cuddly as ever, and adores chasing my niece. She was doing that today with my niece on her trike. lol

She definitely appears to be eating more hay, and has gone to getting as excited over her grain as she did her bottle. I'm thinking she might be trying to shed, but I dunno. She seems ichy and when I check her over, I'm not seeing signs of anything besides loose wool and dirt. XP Like, it's not a huge concern, it's just something I've noticed. Her favorite place to have scratched is at the base of her spine near her tail.

I've debated giving her a bath off and on, but because she's gonna be going outside soonish(we are still going to try and reintroduce her to her mom's flock, but if she can't stay with them I've gotta build her a place on my property. So, either way, she'll be going outside to stay eventually. I just really hope the transition isn't too hard on her considering she has lived her entire life inside my house with only supervised outside time(I have plants and things I wouldn't trust her to not get into without me watching her, plus she throws a fit if she can not see me).

But! All in all, things are going well, she's doing great and I think I might be able to call this a successful weaning???

Not too bad for a guy's who's still just kinda winging it most of the time. XD

Anyway, as usual. Here's some pics of my girl for tax.

P.S the fence seen here is not mine, it is my neighbor's. XP

She will do fine, going back to her flock. Will the owner put her in a small pen with other sheep to start with? That would make it easier for her. Right now she doesn’t know that she is a sheep. I have bottle babies that go back to the flock and they do just fine.

Scratch her between her front legs. That can’t reach that spot and they enjoy a good scratch.
