Hey guys,

I have a Dropcam HD wifi motion sensor camera that I use to track a raccoon that likes to visit my backyard at night. It sends me alerts through my phone and this way i can run out and scare him off. Hopefully he'll eventually learn not to come anymore. Check out my youtube video at 2.54 min. where you can actually see video of the raccoon.

Neat camera. But raccoons don't scare off very easily. If you want to get rid of the raccoon, trap it, then shoot it. You have chickens and raccoons love a chicken dinner. If it ever gets in the coop, it will kill everything. All your chickens. They are incredibly smart and have all night to figure out how to get into your coop. Trapping it and dumping it somewhere else isn't very nice, because it will only be someone else's problem.
