We have a large sloping hillside on one side of our property that is loaded with juniper trees for lots of shade, and huge boulders for the goats to climb on. My son in law finally got this part fenced and we turned the does out today, along with the doelings. They LOVE the rocks! Believe it or not, they wanted to come back to their old barn tonight, :hu even though there is a nice little barn up there. So they got to come back, for the night. :D

How neat. Love the huge boulders. We are in the process of fencing in our property and can't wait to release our two little guys. We also have lots of ground junipers and pine trees. Hope there are more than enough to go around. I love our pines and junipers and I don't want them to eat all....

My goats have requested to come and visit with your goats. :)
Mine too! Actually, they say they'll just "borrow" a couple of those rocks....do you deliver?

HAHA! I love big rocks too! In fact, the ones closer to the front I actually purchased, to put in my dry creek bed. Those were left over and were put there to maybe use later. (but like I asked my SIL, how you gonna get them out now? )The darker ones in the back, like the one the little doe with the dark chocolate head is standing on, are all natural and the whole hillside is scattered with them. They use them to stand on to reach the juniper limbs, and to play Queen of the Mountain. It always amazes me how as soon as they are put anywhere on the hillside, they all start in jumping around on the rocks, even the older mamas!

I want some of those rocks too! What a great playground your have for your girls. :drool

Juniper trees?? Where are you? I bet we might live fairly close.

Wow that looks like a goat paradise. I wish our field had those rocks in it. Nice looking goats too.
