I have a 1/2 Nigerian 1/2 Fainting doe, and she is about 4 years old. She had triplets in September, and since then, she has just been very fat. She is one of my only goats with horns, so I was wondering if it was because she shoves the other goats out of the way and eats their food. Therefore, overeating. So I separated her from the other goats and fed her smaller amounts, but she just always seems hungry, and still is fat. I haven't given her a dewormer, because I don't know enough about them. Would giving her a dewormer help with this issue? If so, any recommendations on what dewormer to use, and how to administer it? Or any other ideas on what could be wrong with her? I feel so bad when she is this fat and I don't know what to do anymore!

Do they get hay? Do they have a buck running with them -- even a young kid one? You say "not pregnant"..…. But

She's probably fat from the bullying.
Sending a fecal into a vet or a place like meadow mist labs and checking her famacha can help you know if she needs worming. (She looks like she maybe might benedit from a copper bolus but that would not make her slim down)
And I second checking for potential breeding sources.
What is her diet like?

No, she is in a pen with only does, and my buck is secured in a pen. She has been fat like this since she had her kids, because I remember thinking that she was still pretty fat after she had her triplets.

I gave her a copper bolus this winter.

I feed my goats alfalfa and sweet grass bales in the winter, and right now we are transitioning to grass. So her diet is about 1/2 alfalfa, 1/2 grass.

Okay, I actually did just read to look at her famacha to help determine if she needs dewormer, I'll look at that tomorrow.

Here is a picture the day after she had her babies in September...
