Ran out to the store for an abrasive thingy.
I'm going to be sanding off missed flesh for-freaking-ever!
Not sure if the pickle worked in some areas...time will tell if I royally Fed up or not.
I wonder if I should make a little tail frame.....
Rain tomorrow, so have to hide it until it's dry out again.

You're getting there! Keep it up -- it would be a shame to stop after so much effort. That's what kept me going on mine.

It's like 25-30 rabbit pelts worth, but on steroids. And I hate doing even one bun pelt...
No idea. Old cat probably won't bother it, but young cat is bound to chew and fight with it. So, can't really leave it anywhere.
Do these things need to be protected from the sun? Entrance has wall space for it, but direct afternoon sun...

Well, after crying my eyeballs out over Guiller-moo missing Zim, I chatted with DH about Zim's hide placement. Plus his skull.
If it'll be a wall hanging, I don't need to break it.
We think we've found just the right spot for him! Diagonally on the staircase wall. Away from Masenko's claws and mostly safe from direct sunlight. Skull will be first as you go up the steps, then the hide behind it. Tail is on, so it'll be the last bit once you're up there.
Now to finish sanding off the pickled flesh, make a mold for the hump to keep it's shape, then to add the tanning oil, NuTan. Though, I need to make it a highly breathable floor to lay on, so that it is perfectly flat once finished!
I don't want to risk any pets ruining him, so this is best. Though, technically, I can always rewet it and break until soft in the future.

I plan to tan them all, when they're lost eventually. I'm gonna need more walls...But at least they get smaller in size.
