Thank you DK. She was given to me by a family who's son was allergic to her :( They had named her Brownie...and she answers to it... Soo Brownie it is :) I like the blue eyes too.

Congratulations on the new doe. She's really sweet and I have to say love those blue eyes.

Wishing you luck with her.

Thank you :) I was and am still a bit concerned with the introduction of such a large doe to my small herd of young pygmies. The youngest and smallest pygmy I have named, Vern.. butted heads with Brownie shortly after her arrival... Poor baby... looked a bit dazed for a about 30 seconds. Needless to say,... Vern didn't try that again.. lol Brownie hogs the food bowls too... soo I guess I need to purchase another one.

I was concerned with the sleeping arrangements too... I am hoping all the goats slept in the hutch last night. I saw her explore the hutch earlier in the day so I know she will go in... the big question is.. Did the little guys sleep in there with her. I tried to keep an eye on that but it is awful dark out there and everytime I turn the light on... the kids see it and dash for the feeding area.
