We bought a new goat about 7 mounths old how do we introduce her to the outhers? Our old goat who will be retired to pastur as she was our first wants to head but the new one, the outher goat does not seem to mind the new one. Thanks for any advice 1 old goat

You could try penning them close to each other with a fence in between to get used to each other - but - goats butt heads. It's part of being a goat. If there's not too much difference in their sizes and it's just a few butts to establish a pecking order I'd just watch 'em and not intervene unless it's obvious that there's going to be an injury.

Good luck!

Good response! I would just separate them with a fence in between. One of the best ways is to have the eating right next to each other with a fence in-between. If they just head but each other that should be fine. You should be able to tell if they are really going to hurt each other. They will figure out their pecking order soon. Just make sure it doesn't go too far and they don't hurt each other.
